Biography of Akil Akilov
Akil Akilov was born on February 2, 1944, in Leninabad (now Khujand), the second largest city in Tajikistan.
He obtained his higher education in Moscow, graduating from the Moscow Institute of Engineering and Construction in 1967 with a degree in civil engineering. In 1980, he also received a diploma from the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
After completing his education, Akilov started his professional career as a master builder in the fifth construction trust "Leninabadzhilstroi".
